WHAT THE GRENFELL TOWER DISASTER REALLY SHOWS THAT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS NOT REPORTING

WHAT THE GRENFELL TOWER DISASTER REALLY SHOWS THAT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS NOT REPORTING

I have deferred commenting on the Grenfell Tower disaster for some weeks, partly in order to let all the understandable grief of the individuals, and the knee-jerk reactions by various commentators, time to subside. However we seem to be continuing to hear demands by those speaking for the residents that the Judge dealing with the inquiry should be somebody like them. It is therefore worth considering what somebody like “them” is like.

One of the most striking things that can be said about what we saw on our TV and computer screens and in the newspapers of the pictures of the missing, and of their naturally distraught relatives and friends, it is that hardly any were English. Furthermore it was abundantly obvious that a large proportion of them were Muslim and clearly dressed in such a way as to show they are the sort of Muslims who have no inclination to integrate with English society.

Given that this tower block was public housing, or as we used to call it, “council housing”, it is a remarkable and a sorry reflection of just how appallingly badly managed immigration has been by the British Political Establishment over the last 50 years that a public housing tower block in the middle of our capital city should have next to no English people in it! What a disgrace that is! The English Democrats have long said that only our citizens should be entitled to any welfare benefits, free medical care or council housing.

We then come to the cause of the fire. It has been strangely unclear from the reports what exactly caused the fire. Given the general dishonesty of our media in trying to prevent reporting of things that might give rise to suspicion and hostility towards politically correct causes; and that this fire was started about the time when many of the residents of the tower block were breaking their fast after sunset during Ramadan it seems to me not at all unlikely that the fire was caused by something like the barbequing of kebabs in an unsafe way within the tower block. Even if that is not the case there does seem to be many reasons for being suspicious about the origin of the fire.

So far as the reason why the fire got out of control, that seems to be partly a consequence of the so-called environmentalist lobby in seeking to put cladding on the outside of tower blocks in order to insulate them. There is also the EU, in overriding the British Building Standards, to insist upon EU compliant cladding which is less fire resistant.

Naturally the fire inspection process has been made radically less effective in protection against fires by the focus on compliance with EU directives rather than on the safety of the occupants.

This type of regulatory overload is not at all an unusual situation in the UK now where the original purpose of an activity is often lost sight of in a maze of inane legal rules and political correctness.

The one thing we can be sure of there will be many more problems caused by the general institutionalized uselessness of the UK’s public authorities!

Finally here is an interesting article which has been circulated to me:-

As the catastrophe at Grenfell Tower has been so" Politicised" you may be interested to see these facts - especially the last paragraph....

The following appear to be matters of public record:

1. The block of flats was run not by the Council but by Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO). This body is made up of 8 TENANTS, 4 councillors and 3 independent members.

2. Labour hold the seat that the block is situated in.

3. Labour run the London Council who manage the under-funded London Fire Service

4. Emma Coad the sitting Labour MP for that ward also sat on the KCTMO.

5. The advice to stay put which Sadiq Khan has been so vocal about was given by the London Fire Service.

6. The decision to change contractors during the refurb was made by KCTMO.

7. The decision not to spend an additional £138k on fitting sprinklers was again KCTMO.

8. The decision to create Arms Length Management Organisations (ALMO) such as the KCTMO was made under the Right To Manage legislation passed in 2002 as part of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act.

9. This was put in place to give leaseholders and tenants a greater say and the ability to self manage, which in some circumstances has clearly proven to be flawed.

10. Which Govt was in a charge when this law was passed? It was Labour.

11. Sadiq Khan as mayor of London Produced a report to say that the fire service did not need further funding.

12. Emma Coad elected Labour MP was on the board of the Tenant Management group who are being accused of not listening to tenants.

Further, according to Christopher Booker (a strong advocate for Remain) in the Telegraph, when the Grenfell Tower was built, the cladding materials were glass-based and inert. Fire could not pass through or behind the cladding.

Since then, authority for specification of construction materials has passed from individual governments to the EU. The EU has decreed, as part of climate change initiatives, that the main purpose of cladding is to provide insulation, thus reducing the need to burn fuel. When, three years ago, Kensington spent £10m on up-rating the Grenfell Tower it had no option but to use cladding permitted by the EU. Unfortunately, the cladding is not fireproof.

I have not (yet) heard anybody accuse the EU of responsibility for the fire - though that is where at least part of the blame lies.”

    2. The Fire Service implied at the time the fridge fire had been extinguished and the crew were about to return to their station when they were called to return to the tower. The implication thus is that the fire in fridge was not the cause of the catastrophic blaze.

I remember some years ago another block of flats caught fire, not as bad as the Grenfell fire and the cause of the fire was an old woman an immigrant who lit a fire in the middle of a room either to cook food or dry clothes I can't remember which, but you take people who can't even read or speak our language and put them in a dwelling and surround them with modern day gadgets there's bound to be problems and danger.

    7. Fridges do catch fire. Beko had a big issue with their fridgefreezers over-heating and catching fire a year or two back.

Today's white goods are made to a price andif that means not fitting motors with thermal cut-outs, then the risk of a motor overheating due to the amount of dust coating it and blocking any air vents increases greatly.

This is why Hotpoint have issued a major recall on the model that overheated and caused the Grenfell Tower fire.

I never once thought that the EDP would desend to the same rascist level as the EDL and the BNP. Must say that if Robin Tilbrook continues in his current rascist ranting, I might call for a vote of no confidence in his leadership and challenge for control myself.

As far as I am aware hotpoint haven't issued a recall to date & in fact have not been allowed near the "exploding fridge", so would have no grounds to issue a recall ?
So either the police are playing fast & loose with other people's lives e.g. if another fridge explodes or it didn't explode but that doesn't fit the narrative ?

  10. The fire started with a fridge - the most common cause of electrical fires in kitchens. The fire spread via the external cladding. The question is how the fire got outside the flat.

The EU does not prevent the sale or use of fireproof cladding and, if anything, this fire highlights a lack of proper regulation WRT fire safety.

    1. I was born and bred in England and have lived in London all my life other than a few spells working abroad. Up until a few years a go we lived in private rented accommodation. In one year however 3 things happened in quick succession -I lost my job, my husband died and our landlord needed his house back for himself. I found myself and child homeless. I only managed to get a council flat with the intervention of a local MP and others as the local authority (Labour) wanted to move me up to the north of England. Hardly an ideal situation for someone widowed within 3 weeks of that decision. The flats we are in are occupied by mostly relatively recently arrived immigrants from Pakistan, Turkey, Bulgaria etc and I can't understand how they manage to get allocated housing so easily when I was told that there was no alternative but for me to move up north from London and had I refused would be deemed to have made myself intentionally homeless and their legal obligation to help me would be ended. Something is very wrong when people can leapfrog over people who have paid in to the system most of their lives.

    2. It was probably sub-let to these well-paid rich architects, and the original tenants, subsidised by the British Taxpayer, went to live with other neighbours and made a handsome profit every month. Thanks British Government. No doubt several muslims were doing the same. They won't say who was living there, because they were probably all illegals snuck over from Calais. They have no compassion for their souls.

It is very clear that some of those who perished should not have been living there, and that there was widespread abuse of the privilege of being given Council accommodation-by those fraudsters who sublet at a massive profit.

Why hasn't any information been released by the various fire & forensic investigation teams? Why has there been no follow-up ref claims that a resident, dressed for outside & with cases etc, who allegedly knocked on his neighbours door telling her to get out & she, seeing the fire from the corridor, ignoring the obvious danger to the other tenants, apparently failed to call the fire brigade? Why? Why has there been so little openness regarding the sub & probably sub, sub letting that is rife in London? It seems to me, rather than place the blame on those who are really responsible, the tenants themselves!, they seek to blame anyone bar themselves & ofcourse, it comes down to money & who gets it?

There will be no one party that manages to escape without some sort of blame regarding the regulations etc, but clearly the person who should be answering many questions is the individual in whose flat the fridge is alleged to have exploded, yet for some reason he does not seem to be answering anything at all. It was in the kitchen supposedly according to the man who was living there the fridge caught fire, but there was a small explosion when it started. He left, WITH belongings he had packed and he left the door open and people who passed the flat said they could see into the kitchen and the fire was visible. The man who left the flat was named in a newspaper. He was supposed to have been there with his family who also left. 30. A very well written article, and highlights many issues that has been on the rise in the past 20 years or so. The 13 years of Labour has much to answer for, unchecked immigration, housing for labour voters, favouring Muslims over any other, including the local people, two very unnecessary wars that were based on lies, near bankruptcy of the country and total surrender of our sovereignty over to the EU. Five and a half million immigrant crammed into a small country and the liberal metropolitan elite wonder why all the public agencies are under performing. A house built to accommodate six persons will function perfectly well with six residents, until you cram fifteen people in it, and you have big,big problems. That is what has happened to this, once mighty, country of ours. The politicians will sort it out...don't make me sick. Laughing is not an option alas.

When the Bailiff went to the council flat a different (non English speaking) person answered the door, after further enquiries it turns out that the bonafide council tenant was sub letting the flat to this other man while he lived more cheaply in his native country! I suspect this could be the case with some of the tenants at Grenfell. Which raises the question why weren't the council carrying out more spot checks? Also should questions be asked in parliament to get information about how wide spread the problem is. Because I thought a councils duty was to house people who were the most deserving.

They also printed photos of him looking like a very well heeled businessman relaxing poolside in a very sunny location. That nothing else has been heard of this guy speaks volumes. When a murder occurs, the Police invariably ask for anyone with information to come forward. That they haven't also speaks volumes. Whatever, the heat generated was sufficient to penetrate the wall and ignite the cladding from the inside out. Tests must have taken place before the cladding products were purchased and installed, so, it would be interesting to establish what volume of heat would be required to penetrate a wall, and ignite it from the inside out.
The offending 'fridge', if that really was the cause of fire, would have been recalled Nationally, as a matter of course.
With so much unknown still, and the authorities in a quandary not knowing which way to turn, because they are dammed if they do, and dammed if they don't (and all self inflicted), a 'cover-up' is their only saviour, until the trickle effect comes into play and then all hell's going to brake loose.
The incompetence at all levels is criminal, and many of our 'elite' will be visiting the dock in a Court of Law before the final curtain is lowered. The one saving grace to come out of this disaster, could be a new Government, an honest Government that restores British pride, ensures our culture, and maintains the law equally for all.
Mr Blair has his finger prints all over this, from when he introduced Social Engineering and Multiculturalism. The floodgates were flung open to all and sundry, without status checks, and all at the expense of the indigenous population.
Queue jumping became an art form if you were foreign, and Political Correctness a passport to success. He has so many questions to answer and must be made to answer them all. He reduced Great Britain to Britain, as instructed by the EU, no doubt receiving much reward. ALL Governments following his office, are culpable for accepting the status quo, and must pay a price for their lack of endeavour to correct so many wrongs.
The 'Three Monkey Syndrome' as a result of Grenfell Tower, cannot be permitted to endure.
Those employed and responsible for managing and controlling accommodation occupancy, must also be taken to task, or more 'Grenfell' sub-letting will result, costing the tax payer unquantifiable sums of money, OUR money. There cannot be a person alive who is not aware of Council and rented accommodation scams exploited mainly but not exclusively, by immigrants. We have our 'home grown' fraudsters too and they must be tackled in tandem.
Please, we do not need another Grenfell Tower, but without answers, honesty, and the will to put right all that is wrong, we will. The 'cladding' and the 'fridge' is one issue, and the wait will be long for a definitive answer. Correct occupancy and usage of the accommodation must be acted on now, the rules enforced, eviction and prosecution undertaken for those offending. Make Britain Great again. Equality for all. End the PC practice of awarding housing to foreigners within months of arriving, over the indigenous who have waited in the queue for years.
Dare I hold on for the conclusion!

  53. Whoever is responsible for housing immigrants over our own British born brothers, some of whom have waited and are still waiting to be housed by local government should be hung by their testicles, kicked out of their jobs and continue the rest of their lives without receiving another single penny of their over bloated pensions

  54. I have a Belling fridge in which the working fluid is cyclopentane. This is a volatile and highly flammable substance. A fracture of the copper pipe in the fridge would allow it to escape and explode, if a flame were present. So a fridge COULD cause an explosion.

    1. The affected fridge was a Hotpoint not a Belling, materials used and manufacturing processes used will differ greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer.

  56. Well, well, Robin, it has been so nice to receive such a wealth of new visitors to your blog and hear some healthy opposition to the "racist scum" who are the majority of sickened and weary Englishmen and women who, needs must, have been terrified into silence by their own establishment during my nearly 70 years of existence, all our leaders being, of whatever political party, "liberal" Marxists. The sad thing is that I am now of an age where I will be one of the few to remember the happy, homogeneous, stable, civilised country that we can only now whistfully capture in those black and white films of the 20 years from 1948 to 1968. If you have tears, prepare to shed them now for this is little hope left. Show trials, a police state and massive anti-English propaganda and political lies and the genocide of our island race is all we are left with. As for those who attack the "racist scum", I assume they are younger, perhaps much younger, than I and I wish them well with the future that my 18-month-old granddaughter will have to face as she grows to old age, her roots in England going back to the dawn of time, namely a vibrant and violent replica of the global south. Enjoy it, you deserve it!!

    2. Thanks for spelling wistfully correctly and I apologise for getting confused with the card game. The EU and multiculturalism are part of the one world government hegemonic plan on behalf of the international financial elite. Interested to learn that a certain well-known banking family, who had financed both sides in the Napoleonic wars and most wars since, were pressing for it as early as the Congress of Vienna in 1815. But the Tsar of Russia would have none of it and was earmarked for destruction in the engineered First World War and the banker-organised Russian Revolution. I am waiting impatiently for what Putin will say this coming October about who was really behind the Revolution and the destruction Holy Russia. But Russia is back as strong and holy as ever and the bankers are livid. Hence their constant Russophobic attacks with no evidence. They are now gearing up to make more dosh financing a war against North Korea with all the arms manufacturers getting tooled up for that one. The baby faced Neocon, Lyndsey Graham, spelled it out. He didn't care how many millions died as long as Americans didn't. Ever noticed how closely the Yanks resemble Nazi Germany? Even the Australians and New Zealanders are getting nervous about an America dangerously out of control.

Meanwhile, there is a bit of a spat at the BBC over their cartoon about Roman Britain. It seems that they set it in the reign of an Algerian Roman governor. As he came from Algeria they think he must have been black and dotty Cambridge don historian Mary Beard ( I wonder how diverse her top table is?) agrees. So I was intrigued to see an Arab American arguing the toss. Perhaps he is an Algerian and said that the emperor would have been Mediterranean in appearance probably like Southern Italians and to portray him as otherwise is more multicutlural brainwashing of our children.

  57. We have not (and probably never will be furnished) with the true number of fatalities that occurred, this is probably down to the number of illegal immigrants that were being sublett. Those numbers will have to be concealed. Maybe the numbers could have been kept to a manageable amount if the younger males had stopped to aid the women and children they rushed pass and left to roast. Somewhat reminiscent of the same age groups that flooded of the boats as refugees instead of staying and fighting for their countries
The first thing I thought of on hearing of this fire was the hour and the breaking of the Ramadan fast, As for the Fridge scenario, what a load of twaddle even the great Gas fridges never exploded.

    1. There was also the story of a baby being thrown from the eighth floor being caught and saved but we never saw the pictures.

Anyway there's evidence that the "exploding fridge" was full of Acetone Peroxide also called TATP, the chemical ISIS use to make their bombs. TATP has one main disadvantage - it must be kept cool otherwise it will self detonate. The flat was probably on a Pay As You Go electric top up key meter with the credit likely to have been used up. The result the TATP reached room temperature and self detonated.

  58. I thought that the original fire was put out ie the fridge and the fire fighters left BUT if the window was open and a spark had lodged between the cladding the wind would have caused the spread of fire. The fire fighters would not be looking outside the flat .
The person who left with the door open is to blame for the initial fire but the group of tenants who were responsible for the flats are also responsible for the agreement of choice of cladding for the fire doors kept open and for subletting as well as everyone else on those committees.

  59. I have been sent an item about the fact that Judge Shrimpton no less has said that the fire was caused by an ISIL bomb being stored in the fridge. Apparently, it was to be used at the Trooping of the Colour. I wonder if anybody else is privy to this information. The BBC has just told us that the inquiry is tasked with getting to the source of the fire. However, if Judge Shrimpton is correct then there is no way that this will be given as the origin of the blaze. It is obviously already under wraps and possibly subject to a D Notice.

  60. The tenants & survivors of the Grenfel fire will take the money & be heard of no more. Maybe they will write books about how they survived but don't hold your breath if you think they will be best sellers. The media will squeeze every minute out of the aftermath. It may or may not change the way these dreadful multi-storey buildings are constructed but when the memory dims people will start cutting corners again because they don't have to live in them. Not all poor people stay poor & not all wealthy people manage to stay that way - People usually only see their own version of right & wrong. Until the fee chasing lawyers tell their 'clients' "you probably can't get any more" the claimants will shout & moan about injustice - If grenfel had happened in most countries their would be a cent for the 'survivors' we live in an ever more parasitic world & this country is not much better than any other but still the world wants to come & live here!
