MURDER OF JO COX MP – UNFORTUNATE COINCIDENCE OR POLITICAL ASSASSINATION?

MURDER OF JO COX MP – UNFORTUNATE COINCIDENCE OR POLITICAL ASSASSINATION?

Over the last few days we have had a torrent of outpouring of sentimentality, especially from the Left leaning media and political figures, but also some across the whole spectrum regarding the murder of Jo Cox. It goes without saying that the murder of Jo Cox, or of any person, is an abhorrent crime and in her case a very sad loss for her family.

Whether however the murder properly has any political significance to the whole country clearly depends partly on why it was done and also on reactions to it and especially the usages to which the murder is put by activists and commentators.

So far as why the murder occurred, we have so far heard wildly conflicting claims ranging from her having apparently intervened in a scuffle that was occurring between two men near where her MPs Surgery was taking place, in which she tried to intervene and the killer, Thomas Mair, turned on her. I am now doubtful about this version.

There is also the credible story that her murder is really a consequence of the budget driven policy “Care in the Community” whereby she has been attacked and brutally killed by a longstanding mental patient. That is a person who, in former days, would have been, in all probability, securely accommodated in one of the country's then many lunatic asylums. These have since been sold off and largely turned into housing to the profit of various State agencies, leading no doubt to the payment of many bonuses to the often unworthy beneficiaries of the British State’s political patronage system and many useful dodges for our careerist political class.

The other version that we have heard was that it was a calculated political assassination with the gun man shouting either “Britain first” or “Put Britain first” as he stabbed and shot the MP.

Furthermore even making due allowance for the apparent mental instability of the killer and the fact that Jo Cox record was very much of a campaigner for yet more mass immigration and, in particular, Syrian refugees, nevertheless she seems an unlikely person to pick to assassinate, as she was of virtually no political importance. Indeed I had personally never heard of her and I would think that is true of virtually all politically interested people who hadn’t actually had reason to meet her and/or didn’t live or have connections with her constituency.

The reaction of the media and, in particular, the BBC, was all too predictable and a distorted mirror image of what they always do when it is a Muslim who attacks. Then they immediately try to say that he wasn’t attacking because he was a Muslim, but he was attacking because he had “mental issues”. In this situation they were making out that whilst this killer did have mental issues, he was motivated by Far-Right Brexitism and therefore all Brexiters should hang their heads in shame and implicitly campaigning for Brexit should cease.

Amazingly the Leave campaign agreed to suspend campaigning! In my view betraying the trust that has been placed in them to lead as a designated campaign group to lead the campaign for a Brexit vote this coming Thursday. This may be down to loss of nerve or the inexperience of campaign leaders in the tactics deployed by the Left (all too familiar to those of us who have campaigned outside the Establishment) in attacking anyone who stands outside of the Establishment in the most vicious and unreasonable manner.

Whatever the reason it is deplorable that campaigning at a critical point in the EU referendum campaign has been put on hold and thus the momentum towards Brexit has been lost.

All concerned need to remember that there is never going to be another referendum on this. If the Leave campaigners lose this referendum the one thing that is certain is that the momentum towards Leave has alarmed the Establishment to such an extent that they will never again agree to a referendum. So in the words that Shakespeare so famously puts into the mouth of Henry V:-

"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews , summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips ,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'"

  1. Robin, although Leave I'd starting to take the lead in the Polls again, there is course a margin of error.

    I have been advised that there were too Bernard Kenny's both married to Doreen, living seven miles apart. One of them died in 2013 while the other hasn't been spotted or even talked to. Who knows but we don't even know if the second Bernard exists. It doesn't make sense.

    Secondly why would Tommy Mair not be registered on the electoral Roll if he was as political as we have been told?

    I heard a story in which Mr Mair was in a confrontation with an Asian man probably muslim, so no doubt it became heated. Jo with her love of anything non white came out to side with the Asian Muslim, then came the shouting Britain First. She calls him racist, he stays and shoots her.

  2. We've won the the Referendum. Now we need to repeal all the disastrous Legislation from 1972 onwards. Bring back ancient English counties would help.

  3. I have heard that it was an Asian restaurant owner who was the only one to hear the cry "Britain First". He was further away than other witnesses who never heard Mair say it.

    Apparently, somebody in the Leave campaign referred to a similar murder of a young Swedish female politician before the Swedish EU entry referendum which swung it and has been blamed on the Swedish secret service/CIA. They suggested that Cox's death might be down to the same people and was told to shut up. The ghastly thing now is that if this is the case then Jo Cox has died for nothing as the murder did nothing to stop the English voting for a Brexit.

    1m English may have put a stop to the One World State and may have set the ball rolling for the collapse of the EU. There is talk of Sweden and Denmark following us out to form the Nordic Free Trade Area with us, as well as the Czech Republic, Austria and France. The decision of Scotland to stay in as well as Northern Ireland may lead to Scottish independence and four of the six counties joining the Republic. And Gibraltar may become independent, although Spain is trying to get her back in Spain now. Some say she will become another Liechtenstein style tax haven.

    The result was down to the "white working man" both in England and Wales who wrecked the Labour Party and may have led to Corbyn's going. Very cleverly our blue collar worker has also got rid of Cameron and probably Osborne. This is in essence a revolution similar to the Restoration. The English have effectively thrown out their parliament who were in the majority pro-Remain.

    As regards the "white working man" - they used to be known as the English, the main immigrant areas, especially London bar Barking and Dagenham, voted Remain, especially Asian enclaves like Leicester and Blackburn. How the natives feel in Blackburn I shall probably find out in due course. Various Labour people have tried to claim the problems of their core vote are to do with austerity and not immigration but this has not washed. This is in effect a thoroughly far right and nationalist response to the way the English worker has been treated since long before we joined the EEC. This must have them horrified as they prepared to clamp down on any "far right" backlash. What can they do now? Are they going to arrest the 54% of the English who voted to Leave. As I said before the vote, this referendum was about immigration full stop since 1948 and not merely since Heath took us into the EEC.

    I am not 100% for Boris Johnson but he has made a very good speech. I have lived in three countries on the Continent, speak several languages and have friends there. Boris said we are a European power, we are part of Europe and we must continue to maintain our links with our cousins on the Continent. He spoke with the knowledge of a man with a sense of history and shared blood and culture - a lot of his is German.

    If many East Europeans now return home or try to find jobs on the Continent, the housing crisis will be stopped at a stroke. There will be a house price collapse in the South East with many ending up in negative equity but at least our own might have the chance of buying a house in London or the Home Counties and the Cockneys might be able to return. Johnson has talked about a non-discriminatory, presumably, points based immigration system. But what about the millions from the third world who do not have the requisite skills and are already here? I assume that nobody will ever dare suggest that they, their children or grandchildren should return to their countries of origin, even those who have acquired the skills which could be of such benefit to those countries, should they return. As the infamous poster showed, the country is full to bursting. No more can be allowed in but in addition many must be encouraged somehow to return so that we can have a land nearer the 30m optimum population for Britain which we could have achieved after the War if there had been no mass immigration.

  4. I see Blair was going to have his fourpenny worth about the Brexit vote. I turned over so didn't hear what he had to say. He purported to represent the very sort of people in Sedgefield who voted for a Brexit. Can he understand why? It was about your noses in diversity plan Tony. And of course, this is the man who is one of the recipients of the Coudenhove Kalergi prize for the browning of Europe. Pleased to see that my friend Viktor Orban has now come out to say that Hungary may follow Austria out of the EU. I heard somebody express with horror the fact that Eastern Europe had become so right wing. Well, they put up with 50 years of total Marxism, as opposed to the cultural sort we have been forced to accept and they don't want it again.

    Scotland is going to prove a big problem for those of us living near the border. Will Ulster join Scotland and the Irish Republic in the EU? Of course Ulster is the original home of the Scots and to where many returned in the 16th and 17th centuries? And the border is going to be a real problem. Scottish lorries heading for the Continent via England will have to be stopped and searched and we will need a Trump type wall complete with checkpoints all along the border. I can even see "refugees" being trafficked in boats across the Solway. The mayor of Calais now wants an end to the Touquet agreement. It will undoubtedly affect English tourism in Southern Scotland. The irony is that Gove joined the Leave campaign to fight for the fishermen in his home town of Stonehaven and now he has had to abandon them to their fate.

    If only we could have had a loser European body with more democracy and border controls then it might have worked. More like a Free Trade Area plus. But the left wing starry eyed champagne ideologues like Labour and the SNP would not stop there.

    As regards Scotland, I am not too worried as many do not believe that the EU will last the two years it will take for us to leave. France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic ( ironically the countries that have suddenly found they are back in the Austro-Hungarian Empire ) are all talking of holding leave referenda. And I don't think that many Scots relish the prospect of direct rule from Brussels.
    This is all a bit like the collapse of the Roman Empire. They wanted a third Roman Empire and they have got it, including its final days.

  5. Already the Remain losers are now trying to break up the UK and take London out of England.

    We need an English Parliament now to help rebuild our identity.

  6. I see the government is in no rush to implement Article 50. Why? Why are MPs willing to defy the referendum result? OK they tell us 52-48 isn't a large enough margin but we weren't told this until now and start a petition to overturn the result and carry out another referendum.

    They have already wasted in excess of 9 million pounds, had to endure unpleasant personal abuse, lies, deceit and suppression of the main debate immigration. We have already seen the registration deadline extended by two days. Then when Leave are in a clear ten point lead, a female MP with children is alleged to have been murdered by supporter of Britain First a week before the Referendum yet the hero Bernard Kenny died three years ago. The sympathy gained for Remain was massive and the Polls reversed giving Remain a ten point lead following continuous media publicity over Jo's death. We see votes being altered in the count, and the ethnic minority areas and Scotland vote overwhelmingly for Remain.

    We were lucky to win at all to be honest. The white English vote 62-38 for Leave while the white Welsh vote 55-45 for Leave.

    If this is not a mandate, then tell me what one is. This campaign became poisoned three weeks ago yet some people want a re run. Machiavellian at its worst.

    Robin we need to sue for independence.

    1. Francis. A referendum is a referendum, can you imagine the reaction of the SNP if the Scots had voted to go and this had been challenged. I didn't but I know people who voted "no" in 1975. They were never given the right to re-run the vote. And now we have the farce of the petition for a second vote, stuffed with fraudulent votes and those from overseas, 30,000 from the Vatican and 100,000 from France. Is this the CIA again? Parliament is trying to weed out the fraudsters but how many are there? As regards the ethnic minority remain vote, David Lammy and the smarmy imam from Southampton, Mo Ansar, are backing another vote. The Pope has issued a plea to stop the balkanisation of Europe. Yes, Europe is descending into warring factions as Goldman Sachs' Peter Sutherland presses ahead with the plan to destroy its homogeneous nations to make the EU work. But the US is balkanised as well. This is what you get when you exchange homogeneity for pluralism. As for the Scots, Alex Salmond has said that the English will drag Scotland back into the EU but they are going to overrule the vote in parliament and drag us back in. They are cock a hoop at being able to control our destiny. Salmond did say that the English will not be bullied into doing what they don't want to do. 6% of those who voted Remain would have voted Leave but were scared of what would happen. Project Fear is still alive and well and as Ian R Crane said, they will make life so unpleasant after Brexit that they will force us back in. A stallholder from Sheffield voted for a Brexit never thinking it would happen and now he is shocked and worried.

      Already Boris Johnson is after ethnic minority votes in the possible new general election by saying that Brexit was not about immigration but wresting back control. I am afraid it was about immigration, Boris and you know it. You are now terrified of UKIP taking Tory seats. All the main parties are in complete disarray. Ian Duncan Smith has said that only Brexiters should be in government. I had hoped that Osborne had fallen on his sword but he is back, hopefully he, too, is going to resign.

      Max Keiser on RT said that they had tried to rig the result by extending the registration period for the young and flooding the bookies with £85m for Remain. He also said that the young have been brainwashed by the bankers. The older generation have not.

      But the most obnoxious was Vince Cable on RT. Already Tim Farron is saying that the Lib Dems will fight the election on going back in. That's even fewer Lib Dem mps then.
      The smug, arrogant Cable - wasn't he exposed by a Sunday newspaper? - said that plebiscites are never a good way of deciding policy - tell the Swiss! But worse, he spoke of the grubby Daily Mail readers in our villages and country towns ( think that's the refugee English). He said that UKIP had taken over Labour voters - does he understand why? - and we have the prospect of Far Right nationalism sweeping over England and the rest of Europe. On that note, Robin, if UKIP are going to benefit in the proposed election then what about the English Democrats preparing for it? As regards London, Francis, a tweeter proposed a new country called Scotlond. London can go. This shows that England now resides in the countryside, outside such financial centres as Manchester and Leeds. This was a battle between the economic slaves and the financial elites, the English and the cosmopolitans and incomers.

      Finally, the English Companions, the Anglo-Saxon interest group, in its latest magazine, refers to a new exhibition at Sutton Hoo. The archaeologist in charge wants to focus on the origins of English identity. The ECs' Secretary writes that the enemies of our national culture and identity assert that we English do not exist. We are always called, bleakly, White British; so an exploration of English identity, however controversial, should be refreshing. People are getting very angry as the revolt by the "white working classes" i.e. the indigenous English has shown.

    "Max Keiser"? The less attention paid to him, the better imo.
